Before living here in the South, I lived in North Central Florida. As I have lived in this small town I do for more than a 12 years now, I have come to know the differences in everyday life to that of the city. Schools, politics, morals, homeless, news, police, vaccines, DFCS, people and many more day-to-day actions and beliefs.

As I am no longer in the big city, I am still just as busy. The one thing I crave time for is news, news and more news. I do read the local papers and visit many news sites, mainstream and alternative ones. It is getting easier for me to put who’s who and with what events. I have the self belief of being informed.

Those of you who know me and have read any of my editorials know I am against the surveillance of Americans. Not in all cases, mind you, but I believe to mass scan everyone all the time, setting up databases and logging one’s every move combined with facial recognition cameras is wrong. The threat of losing one’s rights to privacy is to me a terrorist act. But James what about our security? What will we do about our safety? You don’t have anything to hide do you? Then you have no worries. Do you?

Let me ask you a question. Did you know that with all the up-and-coming ”security” being implemented, everything you buy, groceries, clothing, fuel, your location and much more information will all be made available to business, government, thieves, and others, where your profile of your person can be made. Tags in your clothes giving off radio waves linked to your credit-card that is matched up to your photo on the national ID card with your iris scans and fingerprints embedded inside referenced by your medical records, criminal background and credit ratings.

There are countless amounts of information that can be accessed anytime by a lot of different people. And all this why? To make sure you are safe? Well I for one feel that it is all a sham for the control of our lives.

But in the end this question always is asked. “Why would they want to do this? That is one of the questions of all ages. Ranks Not 2 under “Why are we here”?

Yes we do need to be secure and safety is a big concern. But some things are just ridiculous in nature. Filling our children with mercury vaccines, prescription drugs, cameras in school locker rooms, and worst of all — letting your children believe that God nor Jesus should be mentioned or thought of in school.

I know … I know what about those who do not believe in religion. Well my thinking is that you have to believe in something so that you can choose not to believe in it. But there is hope called common sense. You really can’t believe that all this is for your own safety can you?

There is a middle ground.
